Supports setting the default image?
What are you trying to do? just now i update to 1.10.0+mac, the default instance created is still Ubuntu 20.04, but the latest LTS image is 22.04, I can specify it manually but it's cumbersome
What's your proposed solution? whether it is possible to set the default image version in multipassd conf

Hi @srikker, thanks for the report. 22.04 will become the default LTS once 22.04.1 is released. On the other hand, we'll keep your proposition as an improvement for future releases.
@luis4a0 22.04.1 is released. Any update?
Hey @huyz!
Yes, 22.04.1 is now released, but we (Multipass) are not in control of when the cloud images change the default LTS. We rely on the Public Cloud team in Canonical to update the Simplestreams to reflect this fact. We use https://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/releases/streams/v1/com.ubuntu.cloud:released:download.json for determining this. So when they switch it, we'll automatically get the switch.
