Cannot launch multipass : time out or ubuntu crashing (really need help)

Hi everyone, first of all, thanks for your time. It’s impossible for me to launch multipass or to create snaps from a snapcraft.yaml file.

When starting multipass launch -vvv :

I was wondering if it was a network problem ? I’m lost, I really need your help, thanks !

I use ubuntu 22

Hi @axell-cln!

Sorry for your troubles. It does appear there is an issue with networking. What Linux distro are you using? Do you have a firewall running or using a VPN?

Hi @townsend2010 ! I am using Ubuntu Desktop 22.04 LTS. I use AVAST as antivirus software and i had it running during the installation of multipass. I'm not using a VPN.

Hi @axell-cln,

Perhaps Avast is blocking the necessary networking components? You can try disabling Avast for the time being and see if instances can get an IP address.
