VCC reading wrong

If you are powering the microcontroller directly from the battery you will get the battery voltage without using any additional pin.

I'm reading 4.2V LiPo battery from attiny85 VCC pin, but getVCC() returns 4.9V. The battery is also connected to the bat output of tp4056, but the charging module is not plugged to power supply.

If I measure the battery voltage with multimeter, it shows the correct 4.2v voltage.

Do you know what could be wrong here?
