Throwing candies on the ground never triggers quest

I've tried this in Chrome and FF, throwing candies on the ground is not properly triggering the quest. I've attached my save for testing.

Wrong game?

Candy Box 2 has something happen from thrown candies. Your save is for Candy Box 1.
