Service performance stats or reports and SITs

Open Borges-Porteous opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

For example, if there are reports and statistics for service performance they don't fit into task navigation or any one of the pages we have in a SIT, but they are still things which have value to link to the SIT.

How can we show these in the design without harming the top task success?

One idea is to follow the UK model where they have the /performance trick on any url? Can we do something like that as well?

I don't actually think the /performance trick on gov.uk works any more .... not sure why, but it appears to have been disabled.

Anyhow, there is an annual requirement for depts to report on their performance against service standards, but that's usually treated separately from actually using the service (see https://design.canada.ca/recommended-templates/institutional-service-performance-reporting-pages.html). I think we had seen evidence that most people don't really care about that kind of reporting when they are actually in the throes of trying to use a service....?
