Any chance for a new release on npm (or at least a new release with a tag on GitHub)?

The most recent version on npm was released 5 years ago, it's an amount of time comparable to eons in JS world.

For those interested, I cloned this repository, made some change and pushed a new npm module : https://github.com/ridrum/cloudwatch-backend-for-statsd . It's mainly for maintainability purpose
