Since GoS update to A16 im no longer able to reliably reproduce the issue perhaps it was fixed with some upstream patch? Can anyone confirm?

Hi I just wanted to bump this as it would be great for security and being able to get updates to GoS even if it is in that locked state.

In the latest version they are adding in forground service which might make this moot
