concurrent queue on a GPU

Out of curiosity i would like to ask if anyone has thought about implementing such concurrent queue on a GPU side? With the results for task scheduling on CPU it could be really beneficial.

I am fully aware this is a C++ compatible only, but i am very much interested in the topic!
