Do not make '≡' disappear

In https://earth.nullschool.net/js/bundle.js please do not do this,

I told my friend to just click the '≡' as I handed the keyboard to him, but then he said I was crazy. I looked at the screen, and the '≡' was now gone.

Please provide a consistent interface.

User sends a friend a link http://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/surface/level/orthographic=120.87,24.18,3000 and without getting into details notes to his friend that one can adjust the time.

With the '≡' disappearing users have even a harder time figuring out where to adjust the time.
