It will complitely perfect if you visualize ICEC data from NOAA on your map. There are many people need this information.

Out of curiosity, can you provide a link to a specific dataset? Specific to your request, I have looked somewhat extensively (previously) at a number of datasets produced by the National Snow & Ice Data Center (NSIDC). I believe their Sea Ice observation products can be found at http://nsidc.org/data/seaice; although NOAA may provide a regionally focused product from their portal.
