Fondo not working in Lubuntu 18.04.3

I could install Fondo from Flathub. I can start the app, and I can see the collection of wallpapers in Fondo. But when I click on a wallpaper, I get the message "Your new wallpaper is ready!" but the desktop wallpaper does not change.

Fondo currently only works on distros that use gsettings to define wallpaper, LXDE/LXQT doesn't use it

Hi, I'm using Manjaro KDE and I'm facing the same problem.

@Ashutosh-Kukreti Sorry, KDE isn't supported yet for using Fondo, only GNOME-based desktops.

Thanks for the reply. I have a bunch of Gnome packages installed. I went back and check if I have gsettings installed. It is installed.

I also use Evolution on Lubuntu which is also a Gnome app, and it runs just fine without any glitches.

There is one or two crucial packages missing for Fondo to work. Please let me know if you guys have any guess.
