"Reconnect" here refers to a folder having been stopped due to path or marker missing, and the request is for this to happen when scanning is disabled and Syncthing wants...

I was also thinking that disabling scanning is a somewhat odd way to use Syncthing, but the fact is that we do allow doing that, that it shouldn't cause any...

Why, just because it's faster than SHA256?

Can we not just check the mtime, and if it differs we anyway need to do the full scan?
