”Generic error” there basically means the source (Android) couldn’t find or read the file. I don’t think it’s related to a macOS update.

This needs troubleshooting, screenshots, logs, experimentation, whatnot, so I suggest you open a thread on the forum. Once the problem is understood and actionable it can be solved here.

Maybe reproduce that with STTRACE=model on the sending side and we can figure out what's going on
