X-over 4 band plugin's output is different when summed depending on which type of filter is used

I'm using Calf X-over 4 band to split an audio stream into 4 bands, then summing the results, and the sum of these bands doesn't match the input. It also changes noticeably between LR2, LR4, and LR8.

https://github.com/calf-studio-gear/calf/issues/217 — I think this issue might be relevant as it looks like a similar problem has been solved in the past. Unless I'm just misunderstanding how the plugin is expected to work.
