Plans on weights?
I absolutely love the font! Thank you for the amazing work.
Are there any plans to introduce more weights to the font in the future?
Thank you so much! When I was creating this single weight, it was built to be of great use on its own for Cal dot com, but also as a good foundation for future weights.
I do have a personal plan and roadmap to add more weights and optical sizes to Cal Sans—however the scope with Cal dot com was only to complete the v1.0 semibold weight. I’m hoping to collaborate with an open source type foundry to expand the styles and produce a variable font, and yes, more static weights. I do not have a timeline just yet!

As for the more wights plans, I know someone that's looking to fund more typefaces projects for Google Fonts ;). I'll send him this repo and see what he can do! I'd tag him but I don't want to branch my communication with him.
oh that would be nice. right now more weights is not a priority from a company point of view but if someone wants to fund it, @MarkFonts can get cracking -- if he is still up to it

Okayy !! But what's the issue , are you expecting some changes in the design document or you need opinions regarding something 's font's boldness
Just expecting usable font files with weights of 200 and 400 Current Cal Sans font only has weight 600
heyy I have actually redesigned the weights to 400 and 200. can i just pr the otf files?
Seems that you need to push the source file instead (ending in .glyphs).
otf files should not be directly edited but generated from it.
I have created 3 .glyphs file i can't seem to make everything into one file. Should i pr? @mon-jai

Actually i have finished and placed a PR don't know if it has been accepted but i stopped trying, you can go ahead to do it if you want.
