Incorrect graphics on GBC when the palette is changed mid-frame
Due to limitations of the current renderer, only one set of palettes (8 background palettes and 8 sprite palettes) can be applied to a single frame. As such, if a game changes the palette mid-frame, parts of the screen will be displayed with the wrong colors.
Until this is fixed, I'd like to list known affected games here to avoid duplicate issues being created. Feel free to reply if you find a game not on this list, along with what part of the game is affected (images are welcome as well).
- Donkey Kong Country (title screen, main menu, and map screen)
- It Came from Planet Zilog [demo rom] (various scenes)
- Lego Island 2 (text display)
- Lego Racers (cutscenes, map, and gameplay)
- Pokémon Prism [romhack] (title screen)
- Spider-Man 2 (title screen and gameplay)
- Toy Story Racer (gameplay)
