[Request] shrink the size of the PIN screen

Open nahuhh opened this issue 2 years ago • 6 comments

Currently the PIN takes up the bottom 2/3 of the screen

Suggestion for spacing

  • leave 456 where they are
  • reduce vertical padding between rows by 30-50%

Reason: a lot of stretching around to go from top row to 0

Same spacing as phone pin unlock screen or dialpad

This is probably a bit too squashed.. did it on my phone.. but something like this.. Image_70.jpg

Before (note distance from row 123 and 0. Hard to reach) Image_69.jpg

After (similar sizing and placement to phone pin unlock and dialpad) Image_68.jpg

i like Big. i don´t understand your reason to like small... is it security? fear?

for security.. is much better to scramble the numbers order random everytime...

maybe your phone screen is too big?

i have a narrow 5.7" 720x1440 pixels and looks nice. https://www.gsmarena.com/lg_k40-9587.php

also i have a wide 5.7" 1440x2560 pixels https://www.gsmarena.com/lg_v10-7606.php but has android 7 , dont use it anymore.

Should match/mimic the size and placement of most other numberpads. And yes, I use it on a tablet as well.

Neither security nor fear. Simply, typing 1-9-1-0 is a pain.

We will resize the numpad to more closely resemble other dialers. Low priority.

I feel like this unironically would be a good idea to stop people watching your thumb movements when punching in your pin to figure out your pin.
