What exactly would you expect? We currently don't have much documentation for stuff which is on API level and documented there (like HandleExitCode in this case). But agree that it could be helpful to give this more visibility. How about a sub page at https://cakebuild.net/docs/writing-builds/tools/ which talks about how to handle exit codes?
