  • Running windows in a Virtualbox VM
  • Connecting to it via Remmina RDP client

Activating the RDP window gives the message; no keyboard is touched.

??? unexpected E1 escape sequence. What kind of key is this?
ERROR: Received unexpected extended Interception Key Stroke code > 0x79: 255

Message does not show if using the virtualbox console directly; so it is likely related to the RDP protocol.
