Deprecate Package

Open hutson opened this issue 9 years ago • 2 comments

I'm under the impression that we should be using node-codecov from now on when publishing coverage reports to codecov.io.

Therefore, to prevent confusion within the Node community can this project be deprecated?

  • [ ] - Close all issues and pull requests, and disable issues.
  • [x] - Update README.md to mention that the package has been deprecated and where consumers should migrate.
  • [x] - Publish project to the npm repository so that the README.md file is updated on the npm website.
  • [ ] - Use npm deprecate to deprecate all versions of this package with a reference to the new package.

Hey @hbetts Thank you for the detailed way to approach this. Since I'm not to npm this is very helpful.

Once I fix this issue (https://github.com/codecov/codecov-node/issues/8) I'll go about fully depreciating this package

I've checked off the second and third items since I believe those have been taken care of.
