[REQ] Option to automatically save session when STOP hit on treadmill
Hi. Currently (at least in my situation) when I hit STOP on the treadmill, I know it has registered in QZ (the TTS voice announces it). However, unless I remember to manually hit stop in QZ, the session isn't saved locally (or to Strava, etc.)
An option to have STOP on the treadmill automatically choose STOP in QZ and save the session locally and remotely (like hitting STOP in QZ manually), would be very useful. Thanks! (If there's some way to do this now and I've missed it, my apologies in advance!)
hi @laurenweinstein1 i guess it's possibile for some treadmills. Could you please send me a debug log where you are pressing the stop button on the treadmill? I would like to check if I can see the event. Otherwise I can trigger this when the speed go to 0. What do you think? Of course I have to add a new setting for this
Thanks. I'll get you a log asap. I'm pretty sure you must be seeing the event, otherwise the TTS wouldn't say STOP. However, triggering end of session when speed goes to zero would of course also work and be a more general form solution. Of course, both could also be done as a fail safe.
log checked, unfortunately there isn't a true stop event. Just the speed fall down to 0. So i have to use this (and in this way I can generalize it for all the treadmills) event.
I agree about the request to cancel or upload it but it will complicate the patch. I will think about this in the next days
Maybe pop up a query like "Save/Upload session, continue current session, cancel session" // So three choices when this option is enabled.
ok i will let you know
