@Wandmalfarbe Until a better solution (fix to pandoc, lua filter, ...) is implemented, couldn't it be a simple workaround to disable column colours via an option to the eisvogel template?!

[pandoc](https://pandoc.org/) can build epub from markdown and/or html, i.e. you just would need to persuade `util/book.py` to generate the markdown content and then apply pandoc ... alternatively, building a single...

same problem with Firefox Klar on iOS13 ...

tested: no issue with Klar nor Chrome on Android
