Having trouble setting up OCR for new update
I have never had to set up an OCR config before. With this new update I guess we all have to setup our OCR config files now, so I set up my OCR profile following the directions of the wiki, but whenever I go to click read values from ark window it says "Error while calibrating: The game-resolution is not supported by the currently loaded OCR-configuration. The tested image has a resolution of 1384 × 961 px, the resolution of the loaded ocr-config is 1920 × 1080 px. Load a ocr-config file with the resolution of the game to make it work." My game resolution is set to 1920 x 1080. My screenshot I used to set up my OCR profile was set to 1920 x 1080. I don't understand what I did wrong.
Seems version 0.43.0.3 messes it up. When I tried to Read Values, it will says "Error: no ocr configured". But when I tried to load the JSON file that I used to load from, it says "Cannor deserialize the current JSON object..."
For reference, I am using dual monitor, main monitor is 2560x1440 while second one is 1920x1080. I do not think this is an issue with the screen setup since it cannot even read the old JSON files.
Caden does say in the patch notes for v0.43.0.2 "Unfortunately the old ocr-config files don't work anymore and have to be recreated." That's why I was saying I had to set up my OCR config file, since Caden said we had to make a new one, but I was not able to get it to work.
Well before this he gave us the file, I expected he will bundle the new JSON file with the new patch. Not everyone is that technical. I think it is just a matter that he forgot to include in the latest update. Anyway let's wait if anyone has a manual fix for the time being. I just read in discord channel that he should be working for the fix, so for me I just reverted to the previous version and wait.
