Auto Load issue
When sharing my library with other users (we have auto-save and auto-load checked), and are sharing through Onedrive, updates are not loading. We can see the update happening in onedrive, but no change is reflected in ARK until we close and reload the program. Any ideas?
Also an issue for us, using Google Drive. Seems like whatever ASB is doing to check for file modification doesn't get triggered by Google Drive updating the file, see below for more details.
I've added the shared folder 'by shortcut' in my Drive (this appears to be the only way to map in a shared folder), and the path ends up being "G:.shortcut-targets-by-id\1dDQC39CVCluCixik30sgHF3is_E5-T3O\ARK". When tribemate saves the file, I see the modification show up to the .asb file located there, but ASB doesn't auto-import.
But I can then take the modified file, copy it to my desktop, then put it back into the shared folder (same place I just got it from), using "copy and replace" and then the auto-import successfully triggers and the new dino shows up in library.
Will be trying Dropbox next, but even if a fix for Drive isn't imminent, any idea why it'd act this way?
I haven't used GoogleDrive for some time, it seems they changed how things work, you can now stream or mirror files. Probably the FileWatcher that ASB uses needs the file mirrored to your computer. I haven't read through the GoogleDrive manual far enough to say how or if that's still possible. I know DrobBox worked pretty good in the past, I'd try that.
