Suddenly not working?

Today it started going to a blank tab. When I checked options, it was set to "Home Page." I changed it back to "Custom URL" but it didn't do anything, and when I re-started Firefox, it was back to the blank tab set to "Home Page."

Only took an act of Congress to create an account here. Here's what I found. When you're on the Firefox page for the custom url & it shows "custom url" instead of the newtaboverride, click on that line that shows "custom url" & choose current page. Mine jumped right to the google home page & it has worked ever since. I tried it 3 times. Hope this helps!
