Caddy using an incredible amount of cpu out of nowhere
OS: Ubuntu 22.0.4 Caddy version: 2.7.6
Up until recently, caddy had been working fine for around 2 months. All I'm doing with caddy is using it as a reverse proxy. However, recently it has started to use around 200% of my cpu when I check top. No changes were made in configuration, and I've already tried rebooting the machine/service (Rebooting does fix the issue temporarily, but it starts using a lot of resources after around an hour). The configuration is valid.
If you can post a CPU profile here, we'll take a look. Here's a detailed tutorial: https://caddyserver.com/docs/profiling
Then also please share:
- Your config (unchanged; but redact API keys and stuff, just not domains/IPs)
- Relevant logs (access logs, debug logs, etc -- are you simply getting a lot of traffic?)
My initial guess is that you're just experiencing a lot of traffic.
