org-linguistics.el: Brainstorming
As of writing this, org-linguistics.el implements blocks for GG trees, glossing via lingmacros, and enumerated sentences again via lingmacros.
This issue is meant for notes and discussion on what could be added and/or improved. Some ideas from https://www.reddit.com/r/emacs/comments/kypsi8/orglinguisticsel_wip_convenience_stuff_for/gjk73xb/?context=3:
- OT tableaux
- use
gb4efor glossing (which wouldn't need nested lists) - use small caps in gloss output
- phonological rule derivations
Feel free to add ideas or discuss them.
- something for construction grammar cxns? E.g. a link like
[[cxn:The Xer the Yer]]? or a macro? - syntax for narrow and wide phon transcriptions, esp. wide is a PITA to write in Org.
[[nt:...]],[[wt:...]]? - morphemes in brackets
linguexis an alternative forexpex, which is a better alternative togb4eandlingmacros- (also, viz. https://gitlab.com/purlupar/org-expex/-/tree/master)
this package is to be deprecated, closing. (Cf. #61)
