org-variable-pitch: functions erratically in cloned indirect buffers.
When enabled, the following message pops up when OVP mode is enabled in the buffer as part of the hook:
Not enabling jit-lock: it does not work in indirect buffer
This started to happen with Emacs built from "e408f2fab24ea81f74d9b84dc83ee67d562846dc", or I hadn't noticed this before this build (unlikely).
It looks like commit eb4c6947f5b0b7c8784059ee3a5a07904ad3b400 in Emacs is the culprit, but that change is from Feb 2020.
