I don't get why this app didn't support this **key element of its sole purpose** from the start.

I'm not too experienced with child processes in NodeJS (`child_process` module), but would moving autocompletion / eager evaluation to a killable fork make sense? The result would then be shown...

Also looking forward to this feature!

The workaround in OP's post solves the initial problem for me, but now some of the files I try to play don't play at all, while others work perfectly fine...
