Well, the first task is to collect images and train a model. I would expect if you add your images to the training, it should work.

until somebody records digits (not pointers) and extends the firmware for this, all you can do is to drop the last 2 number position.

I don't think its an issue of the parallax, you camera looks quite straight to the meter. Better than on many other pictures I have seen! The pointer indicates it...

Can you try with another browser? There might be some caching issues. We would need to see your config to understand the issue.
