I also seem to have this problem, I put in the correct settings then they seem to save but when you navigate back to the page they’ve reset back to Log (Testing)
I have tried to update the .env file to the correct values, but that does not seem to reflect when you use the Mail option in settings?
it would appear this is a problem with the website not updating the .env file
therefore in order to fix this update the .env file with the correct mail settings
from the Cachet directory run this:
php artisan config:cache
That will confirm the cache is clear, then you will see the values from that file in the website
Looking at all the current issues logged if you try and login issue I will guarantee you the response will be that we’re focusing on Cachet v3
