3D surface viewer is in development--need to resolve some issues and integrate into core of mindcontrol How are vtk's generated from surfaces?

Would be good to document how to add new types of data (beyond 'demographics' and 'freesurfer'). E.g., what if I want to add in gyrification data?

Some variable names in the json schema should probably be renamed, e.g., "check_masks" to "volumes". Need to be sure that hardcoded names are changed throughout!

mindcontrol itself doesn't have type checking for strings/numerical data. Having a separate program to validate/flag issues in json

Are there any plans to implement the DKT atlas (31 regions) in BrainColor?
