This is very good news, as I expect the Pi Zero to be soon phased out in favor of the Pi Zero 2.

@IanSB The enhanced capabilities of the Pi Zero 2 gives me an idea for an internal HDMI solution for the C64 which could look very much like the adapter solution...

I am not altogether sure, if this whole approach would actually fit the RGBtoHDMI project at all. Maybe I will just eventually build some dedicated software exclusively for this C64...

Just gave the firmware a go with my C64 and my Raspberry Pi Zero (1). Works out of the box with the provided profile. No calibration needed.

Actually, I think inverting the _CDAC may not be necessary. Having the wrong phase may cause the hsync detection to be come unreliably (causing horizontal jitter) and the horizontal pixel...

The glitches in your picture look very much like the ones I had when I wired up everything on breadboards. Your cables are just too long for clean transmission.

Maybe your TV does not support a 50Hz image (supposing you have a PAL Amiga). You can use the settings-menu (using the optional push-button) to force 60Hz output.

Isn't GPIO18 used to detect the Amiga mode? In my current adapter GPIO18 is pulled to GND via a 3k3 resistor.

Ah, yes. Of course. This kind of numbering missmatches always confuses me even with my own board designs.
