Having issues with configuring the RGBToHDMI for the denise adaptor board

Hi all.

I have made 5 boards (with varying qualities) that seem to test out ok. (voltages in the correct place, 50hz on the scope and latching of the RGB values). However I am struggling to get the PI to boot properly. I have watched a bunch of utube videos (Jan Beta etc) and they just seem to grab the latest build from hoglet and transfer it to microSD. I tried the same but all I get is a message saying "Release buttons for CPLD recovery menu" I'm pretty sure its just a setting issue in the default.txt file but i'll be damned if I can figure it out. I did set the single button mode but that made no difference either.
