Performance issue

There is a little performance issue: When hovering over something that triggers a text block, anywhere on the OS, this extension makes that text block stay a little longer and the system becomes unresponsive while the block is still visible: https://imgur.com/a/CYYbitE It's not long, but it gets worst over time, after some hours working, it becomes disruptive. It only seems to happen when the option to show "Tasks on All Workspaces" is ON.

Pop!_OS 20.04 (with NVIDIA drivers); GNOME version: 3.36.2

Was able to reproduce this on Fedora 32 GNOME 3.36 with AMD 5700XT.

Still happens when disabling "Tasks on all workspaces".

No clue whats causing this, need help.
