I also need this feature.

I believe in-place updates don't need to take effect immediately, as seen with other tools. Instead, they can generate corresponding issues based on the modifications and then follow the standard rollout process. This approach saves time on manually writing SQL documents and aligns with Bytebase's data change philosophy.

I hope the official team will consider this.
