Try restarting the plugin and watching the logs as it starts. This might have some info. It’s difficult to help without a bit more info

does this model even have an option to lock the controls?

would you be able to remove this accessory from the homebridge cache so it is re added? note that this would reset this accessory in homekit so it would remove...
