Tabs can't be closed properly since 03/03/2017 update
Firefox ESR 45.7.0
When closing a tab, randomly it refuses to disappear. "closed" tab stays and becomes blank (they can still be moved though)
I have the exact same problem on two different Macs (OSX 10.12.3), starting on the same date. They also are ESR 45.7.0.
Hi @AgentSteel and @HeavyBInary, thank you for reporting this. Unfortunately Test Pilot is not supported on Firefox versions older than 49.
ESR 52 is planned to be released and can be downloaded from here. It is not yet released, but it will be at some point.
Could you please try to reproduce the issue on that build and report the results?
OK, just tested rapidly with ESR 52 : the bug is NOT encountered, tabs are closing properly like before.
okay updated to ESR52 and works .
Yep same deal here, all looking good on ESR-52.0 x64 so far.
This is still an issue for ESR 45.9.0 which I'm using on a couple of old Macs that can't upgrade to 49 or newer.
I was able to build an xpi of v1.29 and it works fine with ESR 45, but that xpi is unsigned so I had to set xpinstall.signatures.required false in about:config to install it. Is there a way to get an older code-signed version of Tab Center? Normal add-ons let you download old versions from addons.mozilla.org but this doesn't seem to be true for Experiments.
