TabCenter freezes the browser, affects start
The tab center occasionally makes firefox halt and show the tab spinner. That has become less noticeable but still occasionally happens when TC is enabled. But most notably, when I restart Firefox, the browser doesn't fully load but instead shows a window without tabs, half the addon icons are invisible, and I cannot change tabs with the keyboard or navigate to other pages. This always happens when I first start my system and also when the addon installer restarts Firefox. If I close and open Firefox manually, it doesn't happen. If I disable TC, it doesn't happen.
I tested this in two different laptops, both running Ubuntu 16.04. In one laptop, I tried refreshing Firefox and it still happened when TC was enabled.
