@musicenfanthen was wondering about that, too. Problem seems to be that the origin of the branch is not main. The settings are in the rules/rulesets branch protection rules
The reason was that making a release with a version number matching the Release version of MEI would imply that all tools were tested accordingly to work with or produce...
