Error in PTload MacOS

Hi guys,

I'm trying to analyze my LOG from my quads but on both my Mac (iMac i7 & MacBook Pro M1) I'm getting this error (see attached image). Can you help me figure out what's wrong? This log works fine on Blackbox Explorer.

Attached you can find the ZIP with my BFL log.

My Blackbox Log settings are: Blackbox logging rate: 1/2 (4Hz) Blackbox debug mode: GYRO SCALED I'm on Betaflight 4.3 (latest stable release)

no issues on my end. notice your table bottom right. You have not set things up correctly. Follow the 'README_PLEASE.txt.' file

Thanks you so much for the quick reply. I have followed all the instructions inside the README file but the only wary to get it working is to put the LOGs files into the main folder or copy the blackbox_decode in the folder with the logs. I also noticed that once PIDToolBox has loaded the LOGs, it delete them. Is that right?

Do NOT put logfiles in the main folder and do NOT copy bb-decode at all, for v0.55. All of that is taken care of automatically in 0.55. It temporarily copies your logfile in main to decode, then erases it from there. I thought I clearly stated this in the 'README_PLEASE.txt' file

your first mistake is running the application from the apps folder. I stated not to do that. ignore the error message. It meaningless and just part of old code. you should always run the program from the main folder, placed on your desktop or anywhere except the applications folder. ignore that version. Im sure all this is stated in the read me.

Thank you for the support and sorry to bother you. I really followed all the steps of the README file:

  1. drop this 'main' folder and all of it's contents onto your desktop DONE √
  2. Run the 'PIDtoolbox.app' program file directly from that 'main' DONE √

But it doesn't metter, my workatround is to put a copy of the log in the main folder and it works.

Do me a favour and go to users folder shared and delete the file that says ’mainDir-PTBv0.55.txt’ then run again and navigate to main folder that you placed on your desktop when it asks. at the very least, can you tell me which directory is in the file 'mainDir-PTBv0.55.txt’ ? This would be very helpful for others
