No class files generated to use for WTP

Hey, I tried the Kotlin plugin with a multi module maven WTP project where one of the modules is in Kotlin. After some fiddeling and re-installing of the plugin I got it to compile properly. But trying to deploy this war project via WTP does not work, as in the resulting jar of the kotlin module the class files are missing completely. Also when I check the target/classes folder of the project there is only the directory structure but no class files. I tried several combinations of "use incremental compiler" and "always build real class files" in the Kotlin preferences - but without any result. Tried restarts and rebuilds of the project but without any effect. Any idea what might be wrong? I just also updated to the latest eclipse - hoping it would fix magically - but of course it didn't.
