Hi @BigbigY, thank you for opening this. This would require the addition of a provider specific for Active Directory or LDAP. We are unable to prioritize working on something like this, but will gladly accept any contributions!

I can see that another easier way would be to support SAML kind of federated login approach. Directly accessing LDAP seems to be less secure for web based login, cause the password would be accessible by the middleman (buzzfeed/sso here), while SAML based login would have the login prompt on the directory server itself.
