Buttercup 2.0 ZIP build not working [macOS]

Hello guys!

I've just downloaded version 2.0.0 for macOS from https://github.com/buttercup/buttercup-desktop/releases/tag/v2.0.0 And I cant open it.

I can only find this log messages on the Console app.

I am running macOS 11.2.3

If I go the path where is installed in /Applications/Buttercup.app/Contents/MacOS and the running ls -la

$ ls -la
total 768
drwxrwxr-x@ 3 pedro  staff      96 Apr 11 20:17 .
drwxrwxr-x@ 9 pedro  staff     288 Apr 11 20:20 ..
-rw-rw-r--@ 1 pedro  staff  389680 Apr 11 20:17 Buttercup

I see is not executable but I am not sure if that intended or not.

If I manually add execution permissions to the binary then I got another error.

$ chmod +x Buttercup

In the path /Applications/Buttercup.app/Contents/MacOS

Then I get:

Hey mate, did you open the dmg version or the zip?

We've been having issues with the zip one due to how Electron Builder signs the archive. DMG should work fine though.

With the zip version.

I just got the dmg one and works like a charm!
