Video upload with IPFS

Enabling video upload will outgrow our current server pretty fast, we probably need to run IPFS cluster.

Things to consider:

  • Add bandwidth for a user (authorize user using SteemConnect).
  • Create separate route or application for handling videos (entire flow is very different compared to image uploads. It can take few hours to upload, it can take dozens of minutes to convert the video). Video uploads should have different architecture than image upload.
