"Internal Error ... FirebaseError ... property value contains an invalid nested entry" after dragging and dropping image into annotation

After dragging and dropping an image into an annotation I started to get these errors popping up over and over again.

"Internal Error: An internal error has occurred: FirebaseError: [code=invalid-argument]: Property value contains an invalid nested entity."

Dragging and dropping images into annotations seems to work, but this error started after doing so.

Dragging and dropping images into annotations also triggers a dialogue saying that the only accepted filetypes are pdf and epub (because it tried to import the image like a document I guess) which is unnecessary in this context.

Hello, wondering if there is any progress on this issue? I cannot migrate from 1.0 > 2.0 because this error comes up during import.
