User should be allowed to change the Annotation/Highlights ordering

Annotation/highlights ordering in the right display column should be allowed to be changed by user. One could drag annotation/highlights to place in between other annotation/highlights.

I think we should have the choise between sort modes :

• sort by creation date
• sort by last/earliest edited
• sort by last/earliest commented
• manual sorting (that stays across sessions) as weel as the ability to save another sort as the manual order, this way one can sort manually but using his prefered sorting method as starting point.

The UI should obviously include "undo reordering" (with enough history) ; and reset the location of a specific location. Why ? Because to me Polar has to pay close attention to usability over vast and heavily annotated documents.

I'm fine for now regarding sort order and I want to add more functionality regarding sorting on the sidebar and annotation view too.

Manually ordering would be more of an outliner and I'm ok with that but I think it needs to be done right ...

Hi @burtonator , is there any update on this? I feel that even without the ability for the user to manually order the annotations, the annotations should be in the order that the article is worded in.
