User should have possibility to check that he/she has selected what he/she wanted to select. It may help when he/she can check what is outside of selection.
I think jaws behavior in edit controls (depends on settings) may be quite similar which this pull request is suggesting when braille is tethered to review and "move system caret...

I somewhat feel that removing `updateDisplay` execution from `scrollTo` could resolve this type of double updates. May I try pr with this approach?
Maybe less log lines when debugging is major advantage of this. I am sorry about testing. In this case I did not unfortunately take into account at least braille messages...
I am closing this issue. There is add-on "Show selection when braille is tethered to review" in development category. You can test it at your own risk. Suggestions are welcome.
