Microsoft store is irrepairably damaged after first removal, a simple windows reset doesn't get it back and GetXAppPackage doesnt work.
The title says it all, once microsoft store is gone i have been completely unable to restore it since and literally everything on the internet failed miserably. I have to fresh install now because i am missing nvidia control panel and can't get it off of the windows store.
Why did you remove it in the first place if you wanted to use it?
Maybe.. dev should've put a warning that if you remove any related system apps, there's a chance that you can't restore them back. Even if it can be, it will be complicated.
Same issue here. Thought it would be easy to re-add the store but now it won't even let me download it from MS website! I've got my restore point if needed but I'd really rather not use it.
EDIT - i noticed at the end of This Is Win 11 there is a "restore defaults" area - would it be possible to restore the Store from that?
yes i just did a fresh install. used ctt's script instead as it can reverse most of the things it does, also used tiny11 as it's the most featured light win11 iso
