IfcGeotechnicalStratum is not abstract any more

May be an error in documentation : it is written : "class IfcGeotechnicalStratum is abstract, this definition may not be instantiated". Since the previous subclasses (IfcWaterStratum, IfcVoidStratum ...) no longer exist, IfcGeotechnicalStratum can be instantiated.
